All-Natural Sourdough Dog Biscuits
Our sourdough dog biscuits are made in small batches using simple, wholesome ingredients you can feel good about sharing with your pup. Each batch starts with my organic sourdough starter and is slow-baked for a crunchy, satisfying treat that dogs love.
We use:
- King Arthur flour (made right here in Vermont)
- Whole grain organic oats
- Organic coconut oil
- Cold-pressed organic extra virgin olive oil
- Our own free-range eggs
- No artificial flavors, preservatives, or fillers — just real food, thoughtfully made.
Why Sourdough for Dogs?
Traditional sourdough is naturally fermented, a process that helps break down grains and makes them easier to digest.
For dogs, this can mean:
- Gentler digestion compared to non-fermented baked treats
- Reduced phytic acid, which can interfere with nutrient absorption
- A simple ingredient profile with no chemical leaveners
While every dog is different, many pet owners appreciate sourdough treats as a more traditional, minimally processed option.
Availability & Shelf Life
Because these biscuits are fully natural and preservative-free, they are not always available and are baked in limited quantities.
