May 2026 - Thompson Hollow Apothecary

May 2026

Gianna Thompson

May was a busy and memorable month for our family and business!

We kicked off the month by participating in Green Up Day, helping keep our beautiful Vermont community clean while enjoying some fresh spring sunshine. It's always a great reminder of how much we appreciate the place we call home.

Mother's Day brought plenty to celebrate. We had a wonderful time participating in the Springfield On The Move Mother's Day Market, meeting new customers, reconnecting with familiar faces, and sharing our handcrafted products with the community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and supported small businesses.

On a personal note, May was full of milestones. Chris and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary, a reminder of how much we've built together over the years. I also celebrated my 40th birthday, which felt like a meaningful opportunity to reflect on where we've been and where we're headed.

Spring finally arrived in full force, and our gardens were planted with herbs, flowers, vegetables, and all the hopes that come with a new growing season. Alongside the planting came the start of several house and homestead projects that will keep us busy throughout the summer.

We also kicked off another season at the Ludlow Farmers Market. Weekly market days are something we always look forward to, and we're excited to spend the summer sharing our teas, herbal products, skincare, and other handcrafted goods with both locals and visitors.

As May came to a close, we found ourselves grateful for community, family, growth, and the opportunity to continue building Thompson Hollow Apothecary one season at a time. We can't wait to see what June brings!
